Liz Ockendon We visited today at lunchtime and had such a lovely experience. We were running late after getting caught on the motorway coming from Canterbury, but when we called ahead the team were really understanding. We arrived about half an hour after the call and were greeted by a very polite gentleman who seated our party quickly. The restaurant looked like it was at full capacity, so we did wonder if we might have a long wait — but thank goodness for our lovely waitress! I didn’t catch her name, but she was absolutely amazing. She seemed to be running our whole section on her own, yet remained so calm, friendly and attentive throughout. We didn’t have to wait long at all. Our food came out hot and was really scrummy. All five of us had a really lovely lunch. Thank you, Tigers Head — and especially a big thank you to the wonderful waitress who made our visit so enjoyable! :)

Amber Callow We had a wonderful 70th birthday celebration at the HarBar. Thank you to all the staff who were friendly and efficient & the food was brilliant. The day was made perfect by being sunny and out on the lovely terrace. We look forward to returning.

Catherine Parnaby-Munck Wonderful restaurant and one of the best steaks I’ve had in the UK. Atmosphere is great, loved the jazz background music, nice decor and all of the staff were so friendly. Service was overall great, initial order was taken quickly but after our plates were cleared it did feel like we had been forgotten for a good 40 minutes - we were quite happy as we were finishing our wine and gave us time to be ready for dessert, but I wouldn’t dine here if I were in a rush, anticipate a more relaxed pace of service. The staff were all very busy and we had to eventually flag them down to take our dessert order. Steaks were incredible, as were the desserts. The sides were a little disappointing, especially the Mac and cheese - I think it was made with more of an Edam or similar, so it looked promisingly cheesy and melty, but lacked the cheesy flavour and tasted more plastic-like. Overall absolutely wonderful meal and we will be back!

Ryan Roper My partner and I have been here 10+ times and have always had a perfect evening! Mark and the team always take such good care of us, everything comes out in a timely fashion and exactly how you’ve asked for it. And the food speaks for itself! Best steakhouse in Kent for sure so very lucky to have this on our doorstep! Will be seeing you again soon!

Naomi Avram Obsessed with the burgers! I honestly can’t even describe how good the burgers are here – especially the Buttermilk Louisiana, I’m completely obsessed with it! The flavours are unreal and everything is cooked perfectly. It is a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, it’s totally worth it once in a while. If you’re craving a proper, juicy, flavour-packed burger – this is the place. 100% recommend!
