The Pear Tree - Hammersmith and Fulham

Ahmed Boltun The Pear Tree — Historic Pub with Culinary Flair Dating back to the 1800s, The Pear Tree is one of the oldest buildings in the Hammersmith/Fulham area. Tucked away on a quiet street, it offers a cozy, character-filled interior, a secluded garden, and a menu that goes far beyond standard pub fare. Food that surprises: British classics with a twist — think elevated fish & chips, gourmet burgers, and seasonal pies Sunday roasts — generous portions with crispy roast potatoes and rich gravy Vegetarian and vegan options — thoughtfully prepared and flavourful Desserts — indulgent puddings and tarts that feel homemade

Himshikha Arya Best galettes we’ve had outside of France. Both the savoury and sweet ones were fantastic. Can’t wait to go back and try out rest of the menu. Service was very warm too.

Frank Food taste is ok, nothing special, not the worst either. Portions are absolutely tiny, not even suitable for a child. Very very stingy. You literally need to order 5 mains per person plus 3 starters per person to feel satisfied. You probably need to spend ÂŁ130-150 per person in order to have a normal sized dinner. Not justifiable as the food is not fine dining. If you want fine dining go to Gymkhana (before the owner tells me I dont know proper food, I have had Gymkhana, which is more like fine dining). Service is reasonable though, the lady was attentive and friendly. Wouldnt go again as not fantastic taste and portions are suitable for a 1 year old baby rather than an adult. Shame as I was expecting more from a place that claims to be authentic. Ultimately didnt order more as the food was sub-par.

Michael’s Reviews What a wonderful experience! Sam’s Riverside provides a lovely riverside setting with a large, open dining room, high ceilings and plenty of light. The staff were all attentive and friendly and showed us to a beautiful table in one of the smaller side rooms, directly in the window, overlooking the footpath and river. The menu is robust and offers a beautiful assortment of starters, small plates and main dishes with a focus on modern British cuisine. The menus also leans towards continental European fare with a flare for seafood! The oysters! The seafood tower! Nice wine list and creative cocktails. A complete experience! Can’t wait to return.

Victoria Dinham Amazing pizza - quite possibly the best in London! Super food served by Alexa and Marco who were both so friendly and helpful. Great choice of pizzas (I am vegetarian) and the Nutella pizza ring was out of this world!!!

zxired One of the finest cafes I’ve visited in London. This is a warm, friendly, family-run establishment who have never failed in service and kindness. The lady who works here, Roza, is so helpful and kind, and never fails to put a smile on people’s faces. This cafe is truly the gem of Kilburn and if you haven’t visited, I urge you to!
