Lynda Bowyer Decided to give The Pizza Cafe a try tonight for a change. Admittedly, it isnt cheap for a takeaway (our bill came to just short of £55 for four pizzas and two cans of Coke), BUT... it was absolutely fantastic! Flavoursome, fresh, and piping hot. This was hands down the best pizza Ive had from a takeaway for a long, long time.

Sandra Brunton We, a party of 8, visited this establishment on Suday lunchtime. On entering we were aware of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere from staff and customers. Toby, our waiter, didnt take long to take our orders. He was very knowlegable regarding the menu, and was able to answer any queries. We all had starters that went down well. No complaints. Seven of our party chose either lamb neck or shoulder, the other, pork, for the main course. All meals were ample and well presented, and most importantly, HOT. The slow cooked lamb meat was very tender and fell off the bone. Extra gravy or condiments were brought swiftly to the table as requested. Seven of our party finished off their meal with a dessert. The rhubarb and ginger sponge was especially liked. We all had a nothing but praise for a great afternoon, delicious food, and excellent, friendly service from all the staff, especially our waiter, Toby. A footnote...Yes it was very noisy, but this is what happens when people are enjoying themselves and having a good time! We will visit again.

Lilu Cool We had an absolutely wonderful evening at this place, and a big part of that was thanks to Rafael. He truly did everything to make our night special and unforgettable. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for our table did not go unnoticed. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious — honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was outstanding from start to finish. A huge thank you to Rafael for creating such a beautiful experience for us. We will definitely be coming back!

nameless Amazing price for value, especially the taste and amount of food given!! Highly recommended. Only £7.50 for an enormous chicken tikka jacket potato with very generous amount of meat. The staff are quite welcoming and friendly as well, and the atmosphere is great. Theres no upcharge for eating in vs takeout orders too. Absolutely recommended

Madeleine Bell A really lovely pub lunch, a great environment. Food was delicious, perfect portions. We went for 11.30 and it was very quiet, but fairly busy when we left at 14.00. Service was done by Laura, who was a great waitress. Handled our larger group fantastically, was very funny and looked after us very well!
