4 /5 Stephen Barton: Immersive story. Weve been to Carcassonne and it was really interesting to see the town brought to life in this medieval ages recreation. Look out for the market stalls, the construction of the church and go up to stroke the herbalists cat. Sometimes had trouble with the focus and its easy to miss some of the text telling you where and when you are at the beginning of some scenes; it only appears if you look in a certain direction. Shame that isnt also audio described.

Our excellent VR guide led us around medieval Carcassonne gradually introducing us to characters until we were immersed in a thrilling story. On the way we learned about weapons, watched a terrific sword fight close up and walked through a medieval French food market where you could almost smell the fresh foodstuffs for sale.
