5 /5 Jason Locke: Delicious, honest food that appears superbly authentic. I was one of the few non-Chinese speakers to order. I watched the cooks make my noodles fresh to create my spicy stew with pork meatballs. I asked for medium spice — which was almost too much for me but still outstanding. This is an excellent place to grab a healthy lunch.

I stumbled across this restaurant by chance when I first moved to Oxford, and Ive been returning every couple of weeks since. This is something Ive never done with any other restaurant. Ive nearly worked my way through the entire menu, and my absolute favorite is the **house special stewed noodles with beef**. When they ask if you want it spicy, say yes and thank me later. The spice level is perfect. It has enough heat to elevate everything without overwhelming your palate. The hand-pulled noodles are deliciously chewy with that perfect texture you only get from proper technique. The beef is so tender it falls apart at the touch of your chopsticks, and the broth? Absolutely heavenly. Rich, complex, with layers of flavor that only come from hours of careful preparation. This is authentic Chinese cuisine at its best. No compromises, no shortcuts, just exceptional food made with genuine skill and care. Every dish Ive tried has been outstanding, but that bowl of stewed noodles keeps me coming back. If theres one place in Oxford you should eat at, let it be this one. You wont regret it.

3 /5 Stefani W: We had house special stewed noodle and biang biang noodle. They were nice, but the soup of stewed noodle was bit too salty. They were good portion for the price, but there were only few little slices of meat in the soup. Only a few seats available at the place, most ppl do takeaway. Service was ok.

5 /5 ST T.: Located at the north end of Oxford Covered Market. I ordered braised beef and braised pork with rice. They were very good. My favorite is beef noodles. It has the taste that I would have in Shanghai or other parts in China. Real authentic Chinese taste. Not only Chinese, this place might be well known among locals which can be seen from the crowd. There are two small tables for a quick meal on the spot. Take away is the most preferred option. Strongly recommended for warm tasty Chinese food in Oxford.

4 /5 Jack Zhang: The food actually tastes good, very original. However, the quantity is too little either by British or Chinese standards. If you expect a meal, you shall order at least two shares for one person.
