A big shout-out to Owner Ken and Manager Giuseppe for creating such a fantastic experience. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and commitment to quality truly set CR1 apart. Mike Bird Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. Were going back soon.

Nicola Ashitey Such beautiful staff and service. We were served by Isha with a lovely smile who ensured we all had what we needed. The food portions were big and the food was tasty. Will definitely be coming back again. It was my birthday so they brought the cake out with candles lit and sang happy birthday with others joining. They really made me feel special. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone to go.

na p. The chicken liver curry was amazing and I was so surprised they even had it. Also had the pittu which wasnt bad.

Alicia Allotey Visited Tokia Square today with my work colleagues for lunch and was so impressed with the ambiance, spacious and beautiful decor as well as the wide variety of kiosks offering a diversity of cuisines from Asia. We were very fortunate to have the Thai food Kiosk offering a 50% discount, special thanks to Areeb, for doing everything he can to deliver on a large order. The food was absolutely delicious. Went to another Kiosk and got a lamb biriani to take away. Will definitely visit again, would love to try the Korean BBQ please.

Joshua Kanyemba Really great and generous portion to take away. First time dining here and I’m not disappointed. Service is great and the variety and taste of their platters is fantastic. Just the mulva pudding appears to sell out too soon… the Chef needs to make a plan to evenly spread them out. South African flavours are well reflected in their dishes… I would recommend any one, and family needing a sit down with food to visit this place! Susan our host has been a great waitress on our special evening… special thanks to her!
