kuldeep singh Excellent Experience! I had a wonderful time at Nando’s. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Every dish was beautifully presented. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and the attention to detail really made the evening special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back

I really appreciated how clean the place was, and the atmosphere was spot on for a chill night out. The service was top-notch, making it an overall perfect experience. Stephen Nichols Words completely fail, this has to be one of the bestest ever restaurants we’ve been in to! We came here for my mum’s birthday and had the La Carte Menu, the food and drinks were delish plus all the staff and service was superb! The recommended dishes… Crispy Lemon & Pepper Calamari, Wild Mushrooms, Gusto Dough Petals, Three Meat Ragu Lasagne, Ragu Pappardelle, Caponata and Mixed Salad. The final touch was when they brought out the birthday surprise, a chocolate mousse with edible petals, strawberries and Blackberries with a birthday candle on! Would absolutely most definitely come back again and would love again to say thank you to all the staff who were serving on the evening of 29th Oct 2025

Neil King A quick google found this cafe for us when we were looking to kill an hour and it was teaming with rain, so a walk wasnt practical. Well run cafe with a great selection of sweet and savoury items to go with some excellent coffee. The place was busy, but finding a table wasnt an issue. It really does seem to be a real community asset, dedicated play area for the younger ones, a selection of board games, both to be used and purchased and a bit of gallery space if any of the pictures take your fancy. Staff all seemed happy and cheerful. The Ox Shed more than served our needs.

Allen Foster We found this lovely little Italian eatery, only a short walk to the New Theatre. We couldn’t fault the food,, service or the atmosphere. It must be good, as we could see returning customers being greeted and welcomed back by the staff. Well worth a visit and we will return when back in Oxford.

Christine Matthias-Jones This is our local pub so we may be a tad biased…… but we always enjoy coming here! In the week it’s always quite quiet in the evening, with a decent 2 meals for £15 deal. It gets more lively at the weekend (or whenever there’s live sport on the tv!). It was re-decorated following the 2024 floods so the inside feels open, modern and nicely decorated. There’s a great selection of drinks - especially the beer on tap, and gin too. The Sunday roast it bargain for money - a big win with the family!!
