5 /5 N Adi: Service with more than just a smile, this hidden gem will be a weekly treat for my family. It’s so clean and the food is delicious and fresh. As a fine dining chef eating here, it tastes just like home. 10/10
Must try their curries and wraps!
5 /5 Dan Barraclough: The best biryani and okra dish I’ve had in a while and that’s after locking off brick lane for 15 years. Don’t be put off by simple decor. Really good food.
4 /5 Anju Mac: After seeing this food stall for so many years I decided to try it out! I ordered a large Chicken Biryani (£8) and a Lamb samosa (£2). They kindly offered to heat it up but I was taking it home. The Biryani was tasty it was seasoned nicely, not too spicy at all. Rice was a little bit soft but maybe because I came late in the evening. The samosa wasn’t really nice, after heating it up it became very greasy and tasted like vegetable rather than lamb. The customer service was good, I was given spoon and tissues, also food set up looked clean!!! I’ll definitely go back to get another Biryani to compare!!
5 /5 Andrew Osborne: Had a great chicken tikka wrap freshly prepared there and then for £8. Theres a good selection of curries there and you can eat there. Its down an alleyway and very much now frills, just tasty and honest good food.
5 /5 Phyllis T: Got a chicken tikka roll on my way home. The guys were friendly, and I enjoyed watching them make bread while I waited (5-10 min). The chicken was so succulent, and the naan was soft and chewy. Where else can you get fresh naan straight out of the tandoor for this price? (£6 for a small roll, and it was big enough for dinner). Totally regret not trying this place sooner (its down an alley).
vu luong This place has become my go to for all my Eastern food stuff. The staff are always friendly and willing to assist and barring COVID, its always been well stocked.
beth J Amazing quality food, stunning decor, quick and efficient service, we will definitely return, the garlic bread smelt amazing, will be getting that next time, I can recommend the masala and the korma style dishes as well as chocolate fudge cake!
YUCEL YILMAZ Amazing experience, very friendly staff and first class customer service. Please try them out they have nice home made cakes as well. We have tasted homemade Chocolate Brownie, very delicious.
Cani Seb We experienced a delicious and unique experience at The Banana Leaf, the meal served from a shovel was a hit with our group of 3. It was truly authentic flavors and serving generous portions at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
