Bistro Sablé - (Near Camden, South East)

5 /5 Nicola Ernesto Rinaldi: We went for a quick meal before hitting the theatre on Friday. Upon arrival we were welcomed by warm smiles and great atmosphere. The staff is absolutely brilliant, attentive and the food is surely to die for! The beef Bourguignone paired with a velvety mash was the star of the night, the started were delicate and tasteful, beautifully crafted and delicious. We had no space for dessert but that is only a good thing because we will be certainly be back!

We are local to the area and were very excited when we heard it changed to French cuisine. 10/10 in every way service, food, atmosphere and the price - very reasonable. Can’t recommend enough and I can’t wait to go back. The French onion soup and soufflé I highly recommend

5 /5 lyn cecil: Had a wonderful lunch at the relatively new Bistro Sablé on the Canonbury Road, Islington. Zero mocktails but the helpful front of house made up one to suit my tastes. And all wines by the glass my friend was pleased to see. Complimentary bread, butter and crudités were welcome. She loves snails so that was her starter, and I had the lightest, most deliciously calorific cheese soufflé. I’d have it for every meal if I lived closer! My friend has a sparrow’s appetite so picked at the most beautiful looking Bayonne ham, that came with celeriac remoulade, and I chose the wild halibut with cannellini beans, hold the Moreau sausage. We shared their famous mash and a plate of broccoli with almonds. The 70% chocolate mousse with cherries sounded so tempting I ordered it as a takeaway. Great decor and ambience, smiley caring staff-what’s not to love! We’ve already decided to go back for dinner, and how magical it will be in the summer with so much outside seating.

3 /5 Becca Eats: Cute inside and wholesome. We came for the sunday roast and they definitely delivered! We got the sirlon and chicken roast with cauliflower cheese. The cauliflower cheese was a 1/10 for me, it had a taste of horseradish and I am not a fan of it! But if it didn’t have it would be so yummy. Roasts were 8/10, average known roasts. The cool thing is the menu changes daily!
