2 /5 Ollie Shires: I will start by saying that the curry is very good here - great butter paneer and the naans are lovely.
However, had a dissapointing customer service experience after being a regular customer for a few years. Ordered on Uber Eats, food took 70 mins (fairly long but not unheard of) and the order that turned up wasn’t even mine.
I phoned up the restaurant to ask for another one and they said they’d ring back. They didn’t ring back. I then rang them 25 mins later and they said to take it up with Uber (even though the restaurant handed the wrong order to the Uber driver). Uber aren’t able to send out new orders, so I was left with no dinner at 21:30 and had wasted two hours of my time. Restaurant didn’t seem to care that this had happened.
Rang up next day to try and explain what had happened in the hope that it could be resolved. Was told they’d get the manager to ring me, but they never did. Real shame - all that was needed was to send me a new delivery out - feels odd they wouldn’t correct their own mistake.
Anyway, I’m sure this doesn’t happen often - my other 10 orders have all been 5 Star, but the lack of caring about not actually bothering to rectify an incorrect order really overshadows it.
