5 /5 Yozzer Hughes: Staff friendly and knowledgeable about Coeliac disease and answered all questions around preparation authoritatively. Food was good quality and they have free refills on things like fries. Good wine selection as well. Prices were average for the area.

2 /5 Olivia X: Experienced Cote for the first time yesterday for dinner with my friend and extremely disappointed. My friend convinced me to go as she had been raving about some of the starters here. Which the starters were okay nothing amazing. In all honesty looking at the cote menu it just gives a copy of the Ivy just poor quality. I got a sirloin for my main, which was the driest steak I’ve honestly ever had. The server offered to change it but for a steak cooked at Medium I didn’t see how a new one would’ve tasted any different when the meat itself was the issue. The server offered deserts on the house as an apology but we were put off due to the steaks we had received. There was no further attempt to make up for this in drinks or anything off the bill. I wasn’t even offered another drink despite finishing my original cocktail during our starters and my empty glass was still on the table when we left. I admired they had a free refills on their fries, but the fries tasted so cheap I didn’t even want to eat them at all. In all just a big disappointment and won’t be returning.

5 /5 Venetia Cattroll: It was a lovely experience, the meal.was lovely and the steak was very tender and chips were nice and hot. The Pistachio crème brulé was lovely and tasty. Nice glass of Chardonnay. It was clean and nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The atmosphere was nice lots of families enjoying their meals. Great location right in the heart of Canterbury, near the shops, cathedral, theatre and bus station. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely go again.

5 /5 Fran Cervi: We had come up from London to go to a book event at Waterstones. We decided to pop into Cote because we hadn’t been in one for a while. I’m so glad we did. What a lovely staff. They are so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed but efficient. We really enjoyed the food. The French onion soup was delicious. Our mains: sea bream and steak were both excellent. To the manager/owner: you are clearly good at your job because the staff are a reflection of you. Thank you all. To the chef(s):thank you for the lovely food.

5 /5 G&S Travels: What a lovely Experience. We have been to these restaurants before and this was just as good if not better. We were seated by a lovely lady who was very pleasant and Micheal our waiter was just perfect.. The beef Bourguignon was just like being in France and the Rib Eye Steak was cooked to perfection.. We loved that you can choose many different sauces with the top range Steaks and you also get unlimited delicious fries.. The wine was excellent and affordable. It has a great atmosphere upstairs where we sat.. We will be back..
