Côte St Pauls - (Near City of London, South East)

3 /5 Reizl: Côte St. Pauls conveniently located just minutes from Farringdon and City Thameslink stations. While the downstairs dining area was lovely, the real highlight was the wonderful service. The team was so attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to make our celebration special.

5 /5 Matt Toews: Amazing gem that looks like a cozy little hold in the wall but actually has a large restaurant in the basement! We had the Cote Burger and seafood linguine and both were amazing! Service was impeccable as well. A warm and cozy spot with friendly staff and amazing food! Whats not to love.

4 /5 Steven Phillips: Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The OG croque was ok, bit would have been better with a fried egg and some mustard to elevate it. My wifes smashed avocado on toast was tasty. Coffee was very good. Service was slow and hard to get the attention of the staff. Restaurant was nicely decorated and clean.

3 /5 Hugo: Delicious steak frites with onion soup. The fougasse (bread)was served hot and well seasoned and was delicious. Add £8 if you replace the 5 oz minute steak to a 8 oz Sirloin ( lunch menu). The sirloin was good. Only setback and irony was the restaurant adds a £2 charity tax in your bill. Even though the staff would mention that this £2 is for charity, I felt that this shouldn’t be added in the bill to be contested. If this is genuinely for charity, who gets the glory… unknown customers or the establishment. Owner could get knighted for customers expense. I wonder if high street retailers practices this, what will the outcome be for the consumers . What if Dry cleaners charge this, franchised food vendors add this to the bill, etc. Portion of food was small with relevance to price.

5 /5 Jolene Gan: Came for the French onion soup, stayed for the warm service by Ana. Made a reservation without knowing about the free-flow sauces and frites, so that was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, they weren’t true to their word on the sauces (we were only allowed two, and I did ask politely!), but Ana came through with two helpings of piping hot frites after our first serving. She didn’t make us feel embarrassed for asking at all. She was speedy, communicative, has great memory for orders and always served with a bright smile. We wouldn’t have made plans to come back if not for her.
