5 /5 Anon: Most of the food was exceptional. For me the stew was lacking flavour and the banana cake not indulgent, but the kimchi bimbap with ‘bacon’ fried rice (gorgeous), sesame cream latte (to DIE for), breakfast ‘army style’ beans (flawless)!
Go, eat, enjoy.
5 /5 sasha spall: had a lovely meal here for my sisters birthday- they were pretty full but they managed to squeeze us in! the food was delicious and Christelle who served us and made our yummy coffees was absolutely lovely and made the experience so warm and enjoyable- will definitely be back :)))
5 /5 Sammi Ashton: Delicious brunch from the Monday pop up menu! Lovely creative vegan food from guest chef Pratie Twister. Delicious coffee as well, highly recommend the Black Sesame cream coffee was very delicious
5 /5 Kane Picasso: Small, quaint little vegan cafe that is absolutely a pearl to find in Lewes. Delicious Korean food with a vegan twist, full of flavour and warmth. Service was 10/10 too, I highly recommend and will be returning when I’m back in the area.
5 /5 Rosa Colaço: It was amazing here! I had been recommended this by my brothers partner and she was right to! I love the drinks and food. I had an oat black sesame cream latte both times Ive visited it is delicious. I tried the soy sauce caramel brownie and it was so good! My first visit was on Wednesday 4th June and I had a delicious peach iced tea and for lunch had the bulgogi deopbap which was really nice. I visited again for the second time Tuesday 10th June and had the vegeree with a wonderful fresh orange juice which was wonderful. Would recommend this place so much even if you arent vegan! It is fully vegan which is a bonus for me. It is a small cafe so if you were in a group of more than 4 it would be tricky to come but you could just sit on a couple of tables. Great for solo or small group meet ups.
jemma willis 1st time trying this new Japanese in lewes. We arrived at 8pm on a sunday. The food was incredible. Fresh and good portions. One of the most authentic Japanese meals we have had. The atmosphere is chilled, and the decor is authentic for Japanese restaurants. Simple and stylish. The waitress was so lovely and we chatted after the meal and even though we were late eating and they were closing, we never felt rushed at all. We also got complimentary mochi which was so kind of them. We will definitely be back regularly.
D. Edwards Yet another amazing takeaway from Castle. Yes, you do pay slightly more than another local option but the quality is FAR better than anything around. We order from these guys all the time and were never disappointed, and food is always delivered really fast and piping hot. Particularly recommend the Kung Po Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken!
Matthew Burdett The food is good quality at an affordable price. The full English breakfast was cooked near perfect. Bacon was a bit dry but otherwise fantastic for £6.99. Coffee is nearing overpriced at £3 for a latte.
