5 /5 Hind Dr: I like writing reviews about the places I visit because reviews have often helped me choose where to go. When I decided to write this review, I noticed that some people rated this place 2 or 3 out of 5, which honestly surprised me because my experience was extremely good. I couldn’t stop talking about this restaurant to my friends and my husband. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. I’m someone who understands taste and cooking techniques, and I’m quite good at cooking myself. I can usually tell what kind of butter or oil is being used, and to be honest, I don’t like eating out very often. A friend suggested we have breakfast here and said, “You won’t regret it.” And she was absolutely right , I didn’t regret it at all. Everything was perfect for me. It was my first visit, and I tried the English breakfast with sausage, toast, fried eggs, beans, and mushrooms. Afterwards, I had French toast for dessert. Everything was amazing and very delicious. The place itself is pretty, clean, and welcoming. Moreover, the price was very reasonable. The three of us spent £45, including coffee, tea, and generous, high-quality breakfasts that felt both healthy and satisfying.

4 /5 Ali S: Visited here on a weekday for brunch. The cafe is conveniently located near Goodmayes station. The establishment is not the biggest, so we were happy to find a table without waiting. Food was great, we ordered a variety of dishes for brunch. They allow you to choose how you want your eggs for the full english. The drinks were mixed, some okay, others not. The berry smoothie was super sour, even after adding a lot of sugar and syrup - would not recommend this. The service was okay, we had to ask quite a few times for things. Other notes: They do have a wifi network but not for customers. There is a toilet for customers available. I didn’t see/ask for a prayer room. They were playing nasheeds (not music).

1 /5 Jihan: Looked promising at first, but what a disappointment. The food had no flavour, and the “brisket” wasn’t even close to being brisket. The French toast tasted like dry Weetabix straight from the packet. No butter on the toast?? To top it off, my mac and cheese was served with my dessert—completely baffling Not a single dish was enjoyable. On the positive side, the lady serving us was genuinely kind, welcoming, and had a lovely smile, which was the only redeeming part of the visit. Unfortunately, the seating was cramped and uncomfortable, and overall, the entire experience was extremely poor.

5 /5 Mehdi Chitbahal: If you’re feeling lazy to cook your own breakfast then Chapter is your go to! Everything was lovely, good customer service, lovely place and good Breakfast. Breakfast did take long to arrive but when it did, everything was well cooked, most important!! We enjoyed it.The lovely waitress did say they were short of staff, those things happens part of life!! I’m definitely going back there again.

2 /5 Mahmuda Ahmed: We visited Chapters for brunch and, unfortunately, it was a pretty mediocre experience overall. Nothing particularly stood out in a positive way, and one dish in particular left a very poor impression. We ordered the mac and cheese as a side, but when it arrived it had an extremely pungent smell that was immediately off-putting. Upon tasting it, it was exceptionally bitter, and the odor was genuinely hard to tolerate. When we raised this with the waitress, she explained that it was made with blue cheese and was “supposed” to taste like that. We’re familiar with blue cheese, but this didn’t seem right at all, the smell was unbearable and really suggested that something was off. Overall, not a great experience, and unfortunately it left us feeling uneasy about the quality of the food. We won’t be rushing back.
