5 /5 Bhavini Vekaria: Like any Indian restaurant the starters were the best. We ordered the kadai paneer, the panipuri, fish (the best dish of the night for me) and potatoes. For mains the chole was delicious. The dal makhani absolutely creamy and the prawn curry was amazing as well. Ras Malai looked deceiving but was delicious and the overall experience was amazing. Absolutely stunning place as well. 8/10

5 /5 Marina G: Our experience at Colonel Saab was absolutely outstanding.The entire night was exceptional; from the food, to the service, everything was incredibly thoughtful and contributed to an unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the owner and this instantly created a very personal impression. Rajat, who took care of us, was kind, accommodating, and a pleasure to be taken care of by. The ambiance of the restaurant was like no other. Every picture, art piece, and memorabilia provided a beautiful glimpse into the history of Indian culture as well as a window into the owner’s life. It was clear that the owner and his team took pride in the restaurant and their culture, and this was clearly reflected on the food and overall experience. Thank you Colonel Saab for a memorable evening celebrating International Women’s Day with my daughter!

5 /5 Nitish Raj: An absolutely outstanding experience at Colonel Saab, High Holborn! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and exceptionally looked after by the wonderful hosts — Rony, Rajat, and Sagar. Their attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and passion for making guests feel comfortable truly made the evening special. I ordered the butter chicken, and I have to say — this is how butter chicken should taste. Unlike many places where it’s overly sweet, this was beautifully balanced, rich, and deeply authentic. Coming from Delhi myself, I can confidently say this tasted exactly how I would expect it back home. It was nostalgic, flavourful, and absolutely spot on. The restaurant itself is stunning — beautifully decorated with character, elegance, and a warm atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience. And in my opinion, you can always judge a restaurant by how well they maintain their washrooms — Colonel Saab passes this test effortlessly. The washrooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and maintained to the highest standard, which says a lot about their attention to detail. Colonel Saab is now a must-visit for me whenever I travel to London. I will definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Trisha Rathod: A fantastic dining experience at Colonel Saab. The food was exceptional, and Anshul made the evening even better with his spot-on recommendations. He helped us choose the right dishes and kept checking in throughout with such genuine warmth and care. We had the Fish Tikka, the Beetroot Tikki with beetroot murabba (unforgettable), and the Choke Tikki, all beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The Butter Chicken was rich and comforting, and the Ras Malai Tres Leches was the highlight of the meal and my favourite dessert. The atmosphere feels elegant yet welcoming, almost regal, but with the warmth of being hosted at someone’s home. Would definitely visit again!
