Curry Mahal - (Near Harrow, South East)

Claire Mendonca-Yeboah An unassuming restaurant on the main road. We went in as a family of 4 without a booking at about 6.30pm on Valentines Day and they were able to accommodate us straight away. We shared butter chicken curry, goat curry and lamb vindaloo, pilau rice, keema naan, tandoori roti and butter naan. The food was absolutely delicious and we pretty much finished everything we ordered. The tandoori roti was too crispy for our liking (the only slight criticism - the children and I prefer it much more soft and fluffy). Staff are attentive, service is reasonably quick and the restaurant itself is decorated in keeping with its name. It was very quiet when we went in for about the first 30mins as there were no other guests and the restaurant doesnt play any music but it soon picked up post 7pm. We will definitely go again as the food was really good.

Mary-Anne Stuart Would definitely recommend this one! Delicious hot and tasty Turkish food, best we’ve had since leaving Melbourne. So nice to eat simple grilled meat with rice and salads, with fresh Turkish flavours. Staff were very welcoming on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime (we were the only ones in). Servings were generous portions. Complimentary mezze were brought out before our meal and complimentary tea & sweets offered.

Claire Maher I am genuinely absolutely overjoyed to have found this perfect little gem! We first started visiting this very special place a few months ago and no week would ever be right anymore without our regular trip to Mamma V’s. The food is traditional, tasty, wholesome, made with love and lots of Jamaican sunshine. Nothing less than outstanding! Mamma V works so tremendously hard to ensure that all her guests are treated like family and we have come to love her as much as her food! I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. sachin vora Ive been regularly visiting this food joint from last 3 years. The food quantity and quality is perfect. Great food and service all the time. Open from early morning till late evening. They have got a large variety of fast food options all served hot, my favourite being Cheese Pav Bhaji and Paneer Wrap along with some Chaat items. There is ample seating place and enough parking around the shop. The interior and decor does need a bit of update which I believe the staff said would happen at some point this year.
