2 /5 Jo Darby: This has been our go-to Chippy for quite a while now but very disappointed tonight. Fish dripping in grease, most of the batter stuck to the paper, even the cat didnt want it!! Chips were good

5 /5 Kulwinder Baath: I popped into the shop recently and was blown away by how much it has improved under the new owners. The food is exceptional — the fish is perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter, and the chips are golden, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really tell everything is made with care. The new owners are warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. The service is quicker, the shop looks cleaner and brighter, and the whole experience feels uplifting. It’s great to see a local spot taken over by people who genuinely value quality and customer service. If you haven’t been since the change in ownership, you’re missing out — this is easily the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Lily Rose: Place has now got new owners. :/ the original owners were such a lovely family and the quality of food and service was amazing. Haven’t tried it since the new owners joined, hopefully it is just as good.

5 /5 Sandeep Sandhu: Food was absolutely delightful, especially for the price, and they give you a really good portion of chips and do not hold back on the salt and vinegar. Service was amazing too the boy behind the counter was very friendly, seems like a family run business to me, he got my order perfect. I would definitely come here again
