5 /5 Linn: I am so impressed with this restaurant! Everything from the venue, the atmosphere, the staff, and the food is absolutely top notch. My family and I had an incredible time - we felt very well taken care of, each dish was beautifully crafted and it was such a personal touch for the chef to come out and tell us about each and every one. A highlight of the evening was trying Peruvian way. I feel very inspired to learn more about this wonderful country and its cuisine. Greenwich is very lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant! I can’t wait to go back.

5 /5 Alessandro Nioi: This has been the best dining experience I have had in London so far. The service was exceptional, with Francesca providing a warm, friendly, and highly attentive welcome. The chef also took the time to personally present each dish, thoughtfully explaining the ingredients and concept while expertly guiding us through the wine pairings. His passion and knowledge made the experience both engaging and memorable. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour. We opted for the set menu, and the accompanying wine pairing was perfectly selected to complement each dish. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a magical and romantic atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience in London.

5 /5 Anna: Amazing experience at El Alquimista today. From the moment I arrived, all the staff were extremely friendly and provided exceptional service. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, with lots of paintings and great use of colors. The menu is very well curated, both for food and drinks. Started with a complimentary Peruvian style fish broth, which was delicious and full of rich flavours. The homemade bread and butter served on the house were also excellent and a lovely touch. The chef personally introduced each dish and explained the ingredients with great passion and enthusiasm, which made the experience even more special. I tried the Lomo Saltado, steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I really enjoyed it. I also tried the signature cocktail, El Alquimista, a creamy salted caramel cocktail, a unique find. It was absolutely delicious and still leaves a great flavor in my mouth. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food, creative drinks, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Nazia Tingay: I was lucky enough to sample the new Spring menu last night and what a delight! As always, a fabulous warm welcome by Anu and the whole team. Beautifully thought through cocktails: vegan pisco sour and Peruvian inspired caper berry martini which are absolutely divine. I am vegan however my friend tells me the sliced lemon sole starter was delicious. I had the asparagus toradito and every bite was bursting with delicious well balanced flavours. Each course is paired with most delicious Peruvian wines. This first course with a delicate Sauvignon blanc. Anu, the sommelier is extremely talented. My friend tried the grilled pigeon and was in heaven. The next course I had the cauliflower à la brasa and my friend had the duck. Again, Walter’s passion and talent shines through in every bite. Each flavour carefully balanced each ingredient thoughtfully selected. This was paired with a gorgeous light Malbec. We finished with a delicious apple crumble and as I am gluten intolerant I was served a delicious watermelon sorbet. This place is much more than a fine dining experience, it’s a local gem. I thoroughly recommend coming and enjoying this experience.

Everything exceeded our expectations: the Peruvian cuisine with a subtle French influence was absolutely delicious, the staff were warm and attentive, and each dish was personally explained by the chef, which made the experience even more special. The atmosphere is both cozy and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a refined dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something a bit more sophisticated in the area.
