4 /5 Gary Wise: Friendly people. Lamb döner not traditional but the ubiquitous “mystery meat” sausage version, so went for the generous portion of crispy chicken, fresh veggies, and (not particularly special) garlic sauce & ezme for my döner plate to eat in. Dining area was clean sporting an interesting history of kebab art on one wall which made interesting reading during the short wait for my food. ‘Turkish Bread” wasn’t fluffy pide as expected but some generic, dense pita. Hummus nothing to write home about but acceptable. Chicken a little under-seasoned for my taste but plenty of it. Overall pretty good but a little marred by the weird Eastern Rap music video blaring from the TV this Sunday night. But hey, the staff & locals obviously enjoy it.
