The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, creating a warm environment where you feel looked after without ever being rushed. It’s clear that customer experience is a priority here, which makes the meal feel special from start to finish. The food is absolutely outstanding. Every dish is packed with authentic Turkish flavours, cooked with care, and presented thoughtfully. The ingredients taste fresh and high-quality, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. I particularly enjoyed the fresh lemongrass and ginger tea — it was wonderfully refreshing, perfectly balanced, and a real highlight of the meal. Every sip complemented the dishes beautifully and showed the attention to detail in even the smallest parts of the menu. What I love most is that Fancy B manages to feel relaxed and comfortable while still offering food that feels special. It’s not pretentious — it’s a place where you can enjoy a meal at your own pace, soak up the friendly atmosphere, and really appreciate the flavours and care in each dish. The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone, from traditional favourites to more creative options, and everything we tried was delicious. 3 /5 Jens Wikke: First time at the Fancy B. Its a nice cosy place with some generous portions. None of us could finish out mains. The place serve a mixture of original Turkish dishes and British pub food. We intentionally went for the Turkish dishes. Partly to try something new, but also in the hope that the chef would put more love into their "own" dishes. £175 for 3 people, including a bottle of wine was a little more than I would have expected for a pub meal though, and that was without service charge/tips. Maybe adjust the options sizes and the price accordingly. Place seemed nice and clean, but coming through to the mens room you pass what is a storage area which was not very appealing. Also the parking area could do with a tidy-up. Well definitely be back as the food was very tasty.
