3 /5 Liviu C. Olaru: I visited the Xcape Milton Keynes location recently, with my son for the first time. Given the reputation Five Guys has, we went in with high expectations, but honestly, we left feeling a bit let down.
To start with the positives, the food was served fairly quickly. I also have to give a special shout-out to the young lady who served our food; she was polite and friendly, which really helped compensate for the attitude we saw elsewhere in the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didnt match her service. The staff member at the smoothie station looked incredibly bored and almost annoyed to be there, which isnt the vibe you want when ordering a treat. The atmosphere wasnt great either; it was incredibly noisy, and the table we sat at was a bit sticky, which was quite unpleasant.
As for the food itself—it was just average. It certainly wasnt up to the standard of the hype and advertisements. All in all, an okay stop for a quick bite, but not the premium burger experience we were hoping for.
