1 /5 Lynn: I came in to order a drink, and there was no one behind me in line. The staff member taking my order asked for my name, but her tone was unfriendly and I had to ask her to repeat herself. She was chewing food while speaking, which made it difficult to understand her. When she asked what type of milk I wanted, I had to ask her to repeat herself because she was still chewing.
Unfortunately, the hot chocolate I received was terrible—it tasted like hot water with a hint of chocolate, more like flavored milk than an actual hot chocolate. It was honestly appalling.
I usually don’t write bad reviews like this because I love Gail’s, but this particular location on King’s Road has been disappointing. I’ve noticed multiple other negative reviews about the staff here, so I’m not sure why nothing has changed. I already submitted a complaint through your website, but nothing was done.
