Dan Szarmach Stopped in for lunch on Christmas Eve, great atmosphere and service, and amazing food. Greeted warmly by Lynn and Gareth, then helped out by Valentin and Stefan. Started with the fig Negroni, sweetbreads, scallops, the core fried chicken, and the venison salami. All were great. Then the fish and chips and toad in a hole, both were on another level. For dessert custard tart and soft serve, it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had and the honey in it delectable! A very memorable Christmas Eve, also got to meet Gary the head chef what a delight!

The coffee is outstanding rich, aromatic, and freshly brewed. The staff are friendly and always smiling, which makes the experience even better. Daniel Lewis Today I ate at Watan, and as always, the food was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent from start to finish. The Afghan mixed grill is my go-to dish and it never disappoints flavorful, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. A special shoutout to Ali, whose service was perfect and really made the experience stand out. He topped off the meal with complimentary green tea and carrot pudding, which was a lovely touch. Loved every part of it and can’t wait to come back!
