5 /5 Shaun Wood: Had a lovely meal this evening with some colleagues. From the moment we stepped inside we were looked after and treated wonderful. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Drinks arrived quick after ordering and so did the popadoms. And the starters and mains were simply gorgeous. I have never had Nepalese food before and I had the lamb dumplings followed by a Nepalese meat feast in sauce which was heavenly. Every bit of food I tried was so tasty and I will certainly be going again. Thank you Ghurka Palace for a wonderful meal.

5 /5 Alan Schubert: Arrived with no reservation but was seated straight away drinks ordered and arrived very quickly. Having never eaten Nepalese food I did ask if I could have help with menu which was given and well explained but the menu does tell how the dishes are created I started with momo a traditional Nepali dish steamed chicken dumplings with sauce both where delicious. On main course i did go for chicken tikka masala which I ordered medium which on hindsight I should have gone for the hot as I like the heat this did not distract from the dish which was very good creamy with plenty of chicken I found the staff pleasant with a lovely atmosphere.

3 /5 Ammar Ali: Tasty Nepalese food at a very reasonable price. Service was standard but catered for 13 of us well. The “very hot” curry dish isn’t as spicy as anticipated so I’d recommend asking the waiter to add extra spice if you’re looking to go nuclear. Chicken dumplings are pretty good.

5 /5 V: I met a colleague here for lunch on 10th Dec 2025 — my first visit in 10 years - and I honestly don’t know why I haven’t been back sooner! Just like last time, the food was incredible and freshly cooked. The ambience was lovely, with old-fashioned Christmas carols playing, and even the soft drinks were sensibly priced - a rare treat these days. The service and food were spot on, and the value for money was amazing. I also really appreciated that they don’t automatically add a service charge. You have to try the “Sabji Guchha (Potato with Cheese)” from the Chef’s Specials - it is SO, SO, SO good! Between the two of us, we shared a starter, rice and roti, had a main each, and didn’t order drinks - and the total came to just £36.40. We’re both vegetarians, so we mixed and matched our mains, which worked perfectly. I definitely won’t be leaving it another 10 years before my next visit - this place is truly a gem.
