5 /5 Itchy Feet Foodies: We stopped in here for a pub lunch where we were pleasantly surprised by the professional reception we received at the door from Rose, followed by the awesome service from Sam. We also stumbled upon chicken Tuesday where all the chicken dishes are reduced to £8 which made our lunch amazing value. Hadn’t had a salad bar for a while so that was cool too and the food was very tasty!

2 /5 mel: Some of the staff are friendly, like our server, but some are not as friendly. A lot of the food wasn’t available the day we went like halloumi, which we were told a bit after receiving the menus. I found this extremely unhelpful as I was planning to have a halloumi dish because I’m vegetarian. I had a flat bread with vegetarian chicken which was extremely chewy and hard to eat, especially for someone with braces. The food was not very hot, which leads us to believe that it was waiting a while to be served as the service was not very quick that day. I assume it was not quick because it’s half term, but there was also not a lot of staff around. I was eating chips and I used mayonnaise from one of the sauce shelves. However, I poured some on my plate and there was a hair in it. I alerted my server but nobody seemed bothered by it and the sauce just stayed on the table as usual, and it was probably placed back on the shelf afterwards. Atmosphere was loud at times where you struggle to hear people sitting opposite you. It was also quite cold by the window which made the experience less pleasant.

4 /5 Hayley J Bacon: VISIT DATE: FRI 12/07/2024 VISIT TIME: 19:15 - 21:50 Harvester restaurants remind me of childhood as I visited them often with my parents and love the salad cart, but over the years the prices have increased whilst the portions have got smaller. Visited following a refurbishment to see what it was like. As always, staff were friendly and helpful and the salad cart was full of delicious, fresh food. Sadly, the main course was disappointing; tasted great, but portions seem to have shrunk - I had an original combo and have never seen such a small bit of chicken! Additionally, my dining companion ordered large chips and the portion was the same size as my standard portion! We complained to a member of staff who got us another portion. Desserts are priced similar to other chains and are very nice The new decor is nice (love the wallpaper on the stairs), but the toilets still suffer from the fact that customers don’t seem to know how to flush and whoever fitted the carpet left a lot of snags. It also looked dirty on the stairs and needed vacuuming. Family friendly, but definitely more expensive than it used to be.

5 /5 Angelinna K: I came here for breakfast with my partner this morning. We was attended to by Jack who had an amazing and friendly attitude towards us. He made us feel very welcome and gave us some ideas on what to order. We were also greeted by Therese who was the manager working there today. She also was very friendly and gave us positive vibes. The food was very nice and made with care. Would definitely go back!
