Harvester Montague Arms Slough - (Near , South East)

2 /5 PJK LDN: It was my first visit to a Harvester in a long time as I was staying at a hotel close by. I can see now from my experience why I haven’t been to one in a while. Fuelled by my childhood memories when this was a prominent brand in the uk. For the quality of the food the prices are high and the portions for that price are poor with the dishes clearly being too big now for what they serve you. I am guessing like many places they shrunk the portion size but forgot to buy new plates. The food was average at best. Service here is also poor, guess they were under staffed. It took a long time after being sat down to get acknowledged and have my drink order taken. Food also once ordered took a long time to come out. Finally when I wanted to pay and a number of tables in my area wanted to do the same we couldn’t find anyone to ask for the bill so had to go to the bar to pay. Fair to say this is my last visit to a harvester and I will keep to my fond memories of yesteryear when this was a good brand.

5 /5 Rishav: Lovely food and great choices on the menu. Everything is reasonably priced and portions are big. Their salad bar is the USP. Great options there to munch on while your food arrives. Service was quick and food was fresh and delicious. My Char Grilled Chicken was full of flavours, the Garlic bread, Breaded Mushroom and Small Pork Ribs were delicious too. TRACY was wonderful, friendly and provided us a great customer service. Appreciate her work.

5 /5 Rebecca Barr: Cannot believe the incredible value of the Santa breakfast - it truly was the most amazing Santa and the most magical experience for me and my kids. We got 1:1 time with Santa and time to fully appreciate the moment with a lovely breakfast too. Usually you are rushed, queuing and trying to keep kids entertained in between activities, being constantly upsold as you go. This was the complete opposite and the staff were amazing with the kids too. Will be back every year

5 /5 Cameron Eccleston: Came for lunch, had amazing service from jess, she even entertained my sons dinosaur whilest taking the order, the steak was perfect medium rare thanks to gary and we all enjoyed our food. The peri peri chicken wings are to die for luke really worked his magic !!!!

2 /5 Farah Khan: We arrived 5 minutes earl to our booking. The notes were not read when we were taken to a table in the middle of the restaurant whereas we had requested near the window. There was plenty tables available. We then sat waiting for someone to take our order for 20 minutes whilst other people arrived and got attended to before us. The young girl when I gave her feedback got defensive with an attitude telling me about sections. I don’t want to know more need to understand sections but just service. I felt like walking out. I made my feedback clear and told the young girl it was for her to let her manager know. I would have thought the manager would come and see me but nope. Terrible service. Be use of this we really did nit enjoy our food.
