Hope & Anchor - (Near Lambeth, South East)

4 /5 Ed A AR: It’s a very big pub that happens to be in Brixton. A bit in the middle of nowhere but it does the job and the staff is nice. The upper room is large and decently decorated and works well for practices and jam sessions.

5 /5 Millward: Came here to watch the 6 nations in the afternoon as a group of 8 and then to host an evening birthday party in their rebel room for around 60. Despite it being super busy due to the rugby, the staff were friendly & efficient throughout, and service was as quick as you can expect at those busy times! We had Connor as our bartender in the Rebel Room in the evening and he was fantastic, great service and really personable all the way through. The managers who helped us setup were also great but I didnt catch their names, and Olivia who we set it up with over email was friendly and helpful. Id definitely recommend the Hope & Anchor for either a place for a beer and to watch sport and a place to host a birthday party! Will be returning, thank you!

4 /5 Iona Davis: No point even mention the garden, which is always fantastic and well stocked. But this is our local and the service and beer is always impeccable. The manager is so kind and accommodating, thank you for showing individual sports in the hut all we needed. But the food wine and beer is always brilliant. We only live around the corner so we’re always gonna be here but even if we didn’t this is a pub we would recommend and return to

5 /5 Alex McAndrew: Absolutely sound pub. Really good for occasions because you can book the huts out the back in whatever number you need, so grand for birthdays etc. They also stick all the sports on inside and out all the time, which is great. Even midweek T20 and random stuff, if there is sport going on theyll put it on

5 /5 Rohini: We had our office Xmas party/lunch in December. From start to finish Olivia was very professional and accommodating to our needs from contacting her re the booking to collecting food orders and the payment. We were a large group of just over 40. We booked the private space upstairs and were given our own bar and staff who served us throughout the afternoon into the evening. The food came out promptly and it was a lovely meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed the festivities and will definately return! Thank you to Olivia and the team for being so attentive and patient with us all!
