4 /5 Ninara Mirb: A lovely place to hang out with friends. The menu is small but well chosen, with some nice healthy breakfast options. I really enjoyed my porridge and the juice — it was a bit on the small side, but very fresh and tasty. Overall, a cosy spot with a nice atmosphere. I’d definitely go back.

5 /5 Jelena Afonina: We have just come home from visiting this little gem of a place for the first time. My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary, only we forgot to make a booking, but that wasnt an issue as we were accommodated with ease and welcomed warmly, no fuss at all. Lovely table, nice atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. Portions were generous, but when we found out desserts can be ordered "to go" we couldnt resist. On the way out we chatted to the barman who told us they do live music every Friday! We will certainly be back for that, and more. Thank you for a beautiful evening.

5 /5 Fiona Churchouse: We had an excellent lunch today at Light on the Common. Beautifully decorated (I love the fabulous light fitting) with a buzzy atmosphere and obviously well liked in the area. We had starters, mains and desserts. The mains ranged from a delightfully creamy pumpkin ravioli with leek fondue to a superb confit duck; pan fried salmon and a super food bowl with chicken were also sampled by the other members of the party. The service is extremely good and we would certainly recommend this restaurant.

4 /5 ploymanee w: The food was really tasty, we had the hash and the tortelloni - everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The service was a bit slow and the restaurant had a weird smell but apart from that everything was great.

5 /5 Claire Fry: Had a lovely lunch here yesterday, brilliant food and service, would highly recommend. I had grilled chicken with a pesto sauce, wild rice, apple and edamame beans, followed by an amazing strawberry cheesecake. My husband had the hake with beetroot purée and also some of the cheesecake! Looking forward to coming back another time!
