Lupa - (Near Islington, South East)

4 /5 Martin Reviews: We had mixed feelings about our visit to Lupa. While the ambiance was charming and the menu sounded promising, the overall experience fell short of expectations. Some dishes impressed with rich flavors and well-balanced seasoning, but others lacked the same level of care and consistency, making the meal feel uneven. The service, though confident, came across as a bit too self-assured and could benefit from more attentiveness and genuine warmth. Small portion sizes left us wanting more, especially given the price point, and we left the restaurant still a bit hungry. Overall, Lupa has potential, but it needs more consistency in both its kitchen and service to truly live up to its reputation.

5 /5 Michael Smith: A bit noisy - more like "lively". There, Im done with the downsides. The food is amazing and beautiful, as is the wine. Strong recommendation, the tomato appetizer is one of my favorites and the tiramisu is one of the best Ive ever had.

3 /5 Chermine Mak: I was really looking forward to visiting but unfortunately felt quite disappointed with the food. We ordered quite a lot, including burrata as one of our starters, but it was not runny in the middle as you would normally expect from burrata, and it did not seem like a full portion. We then ordered three mains and all of them were extremely salty. The salad was the saltiest of all and the portion was very small. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which I appreciated. We arrived right when they opened, so it was quite cold inside. Overall, I had high hopes but the food quality did not meet expectations.
