Mahala - (Near Croydon, South East)

5 /5 tina Oren: Absolutely fantastic experience at Mahala. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from start to finish. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell care and quality go into every dish. The atmosphere was lovely and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

3 /5 Tess Sandulescu: We had a lovely meal at this Romanian Restaurant, the food was delicious. Having said that, the service was average, we were one of two tables in the Restaurant and the waiter had to be asked several times for a child seat and for our drinks. The prices are pretty steep, our meal cost over £100 for 2 soups, two mains and two desserts plus water, a glass of wine and a cola. Apparently they charge for everything including the bread buns and sour cream for the soup (!!!). They also charged me twice for a glass of wine, which I don’t believe was an accident and insisted on a 10% service charge when I offered a lower tip. I would mot visit again but I do have to say the food was good.

5 /5 Sonia Kailia: I came here with my family and we had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. If you want to taste the true original Romanian cuisine come here! Really took me back and feeling like I was in Romania. Highly recommend! The owner Cristian was supper friendly and understanding, and helped us with any request! One small thing that I really appreciated was that they fries were cut by hand and not the frozen kind you get in every other restaurant!
