1 /5 Joanna Waldach: We recently visited this place for a pub lunch and were extremely disappointed. The selection of meals was very limited, and we weren’t informed that the dishes would be served without any salad or vegetables. When we asked for a side salad, we were told, “It’s Monday and we’re short of many things.” We found this response unprofessional and disappointing — especially since no effort was made to offer an alternative or even a small discount for the inconvenience. Sadly, this experience has ensured it will be our last visit.

4 /5 Stephen Lewis: Food was a bit odd nice but not quite what I expected, they used small tortillas instead of traditional taco cases which made it a bit odd taste wise. Friendly staff and good atmosphere mostly due to the england rugby game that was on.

2 /5 NPC 5643546 v2.0 Russian bot edition: Went for sunday lunch. Everything was nice. Aside from the meat and gravy . Shockingly bad. Overcooked, and like eating your own leather shoe. Just two bits of leathery gristle and gravy that was like wallpaper paste.

5 /5 Lisa Lamb: We arranged a family/friends get together at The Malvern for food & drinks. Staff were very friendly & helpful as always. We’d reserved 3 tables together which was perfect for the kids & dogs and had some lovely food a mixture of small plates which are perfect if you just want a snack, children’s meals and mains all went down well! Would highly recommend! Thank you to Billy & his team for making us feel so welcome.

2 /5 barbara ellis: Read to the end... I ordered buffalo fries, as they come with Stilton; I LOVE cheese! I requested the hot sauce be put on the side as I dont like hot sauce but my husband does. When the food arrived the hot sauce was all over it. The waitress realised her mistake and said shed take it back and bring another one. We mentioned the beer wed ordered that hadnt arrived, she said shed get that too. When she returned empty handed, she said theyd run out of beer and Stilton. My husband ordered a Guinness, I said a different type of cheese would be fine as a substitute for the Stilton. She came back with a new set of fries but no cheese. I queried the lack of cheese and she said she could replace it again. I said no need, Id just take a pot of cheese and sprinkle it on by myself. She said shed go and get some. She then proceeded to clear tables. When she was close enough I asked if shed managed to source cheese and she said shed go and check. My food was nearly finished when she came back and produced a pot containing... A single slice of processed burger cheese. When we looked at her in disbelief, she said theyd run out of cheese. 5 minutes later she bought out the food for the table next to us. Hunters chicken, covered in... normal cheese! Very weird, very disappointing service. No offer of a discount or something complementary. Wont be visiting again.
