Megans at the Griffin Restaurant (Kingston) - (Near Kingston upon Thames, South East)

3 /5 Izbel Kayim: I visited Megan’s Café on the 15th, and it wasn’t the most busy at the time and we were immediately seated. Lots of seating for two to four people. That said, Zakis’ service really stood out, he was extremely friendly, accommodating, and did his best to help! One area that could definitely be improved is clarity around which items are halal. It wasn’t very clear from the menu, and it would be much appreciated if this could be clearly marked to avoid any confusion. Food-wise, the posh lamb was on the drier side and felt quite heavy. The Biscoff latte was also a little disappointing, as it didn’t really taste like Biscoff and didn’t come with a mini Biscoff on the side, which we were expecting. Overall, a slightly disappointing visit despite the great service from Zakis. With clearer menu labelling and a few tweaks to the food and drinks, it could be a much better experience.

5 /5 Kiran Nisar: Absolutely outstanding – Megan made the night unforgettable This was my third time coming to The Griffin at Kingston, and somehow it just keeps getting better. I brought my friend here for his birthday and it was honestly incredible from start to finish. Megan was absolutely wonderful — so sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind. The service was perfect and made the whole evening feel special and relaxed. You can really tell when someone cares, and Megan truly does. Now the food… WOW. The vegan options here are out of this world. We had the mushroom kebab and the Christmas kebab, and both were spectacular — deeply flavourful, perfectly cooked, and honestly some of the best vegan food I’ve had anywhere. Just absolutely delicious. And the cake! The raspberry vegan cake was unreal. Even my friend, who isn’t vegan, absolutely loved it — which says everything. He was genuinely blown away by how good everything was. The atmosphere, the service, the food — everything was spot on. This place is a total gem, and I’ll be coming back again and again. Huge thank you to Megan and the whole team for such a memorable night. Highly, highly recommend.

3 /5 Makyla Kaye: lovely food, polite staff, GREAT atmosphere (not too loud & fab music selection. only complaint is staff need to more check backs — i was pretty much forgotten about even though it was quiet and it’s hard to get staffs attention. my food was delayed and i wasn’t told until i asked after 20 minutes, nobody came to check on me once. ended up having to get up to ask for the bill, always seems to happen to me when i come here — pretty disappointing as it happens consistently.

5 /5 Ailen Anivole: Megans is an absolutely fantastic spot that quickly became a favorite! The staff are super friendly, creating a wonderfully welcoming environment, and the atmosphere is simply perfect. Its equally family and pet-friendly while also being an ideal setting for friend gatherings and couples. We had brunch today, and it was delicious. And I love that they gift you a glass of wine voucher on your way out as a brilliant incentive to come back!

4 /5 Ravi Dhillon: Had a beautiful biscoff latte, rich coffee with a hint of the famous caramel flavour. Service was fantastic, staff was friendly & attentive. I also love the decor, especially the lights, creates a upmarket vibe.
