Carolyn Strand I wanted to grab lunch with our son who is living in Portslade for university and booked Mediterra Kitchen having no idea what it is like! We were so pleasantly surprised with the delicious food and lovely service. The Turkish tea was top notch too. We will definitely be back with our family! Also huge thumbs up for accessibility and accessible facilities which means all our family can join us.

Maitham al jalali Ambiance: Casual, cozy dining with traditional touches and friendly chatter. Service: Attentive and knowledgeable staff, helpful with menu guidance. The food:Star dishes: Chelo kebab and tahdig showcase tender meat and crispy rice; ghorme sabzi has bright, herb-forward flavors. Highlights: Butter-saffron rice aroma, perfectly crisp Tahdig. Value: Reasonable prices for generous portions; good value on a mid-range night. Verdict: Solid, classic Persian fare with standout rice and kebabs. Xander Tai Went into the cafe today with my family, and I was stunned to see a ROAST on the menu. It’s honestly one of the best roasts around. The potatoes were golden brown and crisp with a very soft inside. And the chicken was far from dry, with new flavours with each chew! Ignore the ketchup you won’t be needing that! The gravy was unreal, imo it bumped the roast up to a 10/10! I would defo recommend. The staff were very friendly, and quick to answer my questions. If your around Hove Park on a Sunday and feel a bit peckish then I’d defo go on down and give it a try. Thank you Hove Park for the great service!

Sophie Young Consistently amazing food. Billy is always so welcoming and kind. We had the gnocchi gorgonzola, pollo allá Milanese and the petto di pollo al formaggio. All 3 dishes were really tasty and we can’t wait to come again

Caroline Wiggs The food was absolutely superb and the staff friendly and polite. Unfortunately, tables were very close together and it was difficult to hold a conversation because of the volume of noise originating from nearby tables.
