MK Munchbox - (Near Buckinghamshire, South East)

5 /5 SR (Firehorseart): A small, well stocked cafe with many options for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Great hygiene rating on the door. An interesting local community board on one wall. On my first visit I was happy to be able to get a vegetarian hot dog, whilst my friend had the meat one. As we had the meal option, they came with chips and a drink for £5.50. The chips were crispy and non-greasy, the canned drink came cold straight from the fridge. We enjoyed the food and the portions were large, so I took my chips home later, which was easy as they came in a greaseproof bag. My friend found the food prep wait (just after lunchtime) longer than theyd have liked but everything was well cooked and well wrapped ready to take away, so I thought it worth the wait. We were a bit puzzled about the takeaway wraps when we were eating in but it was nicely presented. No plates or glasses were offered at our table but we were offered wooden forks, salt and vinegar with our chips.

5 /5 Hedgerow Harvest: My first impression of MK Munchbox was how high the standards of hygiene & cleanliness were when I first visited in the summer; very reassuring. The chicken salad in a box that I ordered was very well presented, tasty, with lots of fresh, crunchy lettuce, shredded beetroot and big slices of tomato. Also, the option to choose from a variety of sauces served in a little side pot was a nice touch. The spicy tomato sauce lived up to its name. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. The atmosphere was very homely and relaxing. A lovely little independent place that I hope will continue to thrive and that I will be able to support.

5 /5 Ashleigh takaira: Lovely place to eat. The staff are so welcoming and really take the time to know their customers and always make you feel welcomed. Very good portions, great variety of food and value for money. This is a regular place for us to visit.

5 /5 Lucy Jones: The best meat free burger around! Added all the extras with chips and slushie only £13 but enough for 2 people! Super big portions and all freshly cooked, highly recommend!
