1 /5 Momo Momo: I order kimchi jigae in momo station and it took 1 hour to arrive, at the 30 minute mark we asked if the food was being ready and they said they would check which they didn’t come back with the reply , we had to check again 10 minute later and , they said it was coming and we waited another 15-20 minute just because they said it was coming , we said again third time we want to cancel but they kept insisting it’s coming ? It was 1 hour at this point so we said fine we going to do take away , and the food wasn’t closed properly, so In the restaurant the soup spilled abit and they had to give us another bag. I was over it. We took the food home and I look inside there’s half of the soup in there,look picture below that’s how it arrived , with half the soup and oily. No refunds , bad customer service , bad management. I don’t recommend. Absolute nightmare.

5 /5 Richard Wilson: The decor, furniture, and menus in this restaurant are all quite modest, but do not detract from the overall charm of the place. The staff here are all very pleasant, polite, and helpful. There is a wide selection of drinks, including beers, wines, and cocktails. The food here is really good, cooked to order, and very reasonably priced. The standout dishes for me are the chowmein, the seafood platter, salt and pepper chicken, and the MFC (Momo fried chicken). The chowmein is so much more flavoursome than its counterpart typically served in Chinese restaurants. Reassuringly, there are quite a number of people from the local Nepalese community that eat here, and the menu caters to vegetarians as well. Momo Station in Aldershot is well worth a visit if you like good quality Nepalese food, or just fancy eating something that is quite different from other styles of cuisine.

1 /5 Subaan Chandran: I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Momo Station today. I was served chicken chilli that was completely raw inside — not slightly undercooked, but fully raw. After eating some of it, I became unwell and ended up vomiting in the toilet. When I informed the staff, they apologised and said they wouldn’t charge me for the dish. This was a completely underwhelming solution to the massive issue that occurred. While I appreciate the apology, that doesn’t undo the fact that I was served unsafe food. Raw chicken is a serious food safety issue and could have led to much worse consequences. What made it more frustrating was the excuse given — that the kitchen was “in a rush.” This didn’t reflect the situation at all. There were only about four tables occupied, with more than half the restaurant empty. Being “busy” is not an acceptable explanation for serving raw chicken in any case. Food hygiene and proper cooking standards should be the bare minimum. This experience has completely put me off returning, and I hope they seriously review their kitchen practices so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

5 /5 V Elliott: Very delicious food, with perfect heat and flavour, and good portions for the price. It was my first time enjoying Nepalese food, and I now feel like Ive been really missing out! The sukuti sadheko (not pictured) is incredible, the rice is fragrant, and the momos are bursting with flavour. Service is always friendly, they were out of stock of somethings on our last visit but the server made some great recommendations. On our first visit, we received the bill in a VHS box of a film we both love, which was really unique and nostalgic! Its been quiet, maybe just one or two other groups, when weve visited which is honestly such a crime because its genuinely a delight to eat here.
