MARK NIEMIERKO A sensational return. Simpson’s is back and London is better for it. An unmistakable, yet understated energy fills the building. Fabulous food, proper atmosphere and a sense of occasion, naturally. What made the evening particularly wonderful was seeing so many familiar faces from the London hospitality world working the floor. It felt like a gathering of the industry’s greats coming home. Simpson’s is magnificent.

Bruna Pignolato This restaurant is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the first bite to the last sip of coffee, everything feels thoughtful and intentional. Food: Every dish is a pleasant surprise — balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and combinations that show both technique and heart. Nothing feels accidental: the perfect cook on the meats, the freshness of the herbs, the small details that make each plate feel personal. It’s food made with soul, and you can taste that in every bite. Service: The service is flawless. The team is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They always appear at just the right moment — with great recommendations and real enthusiasm. You feel looked after, not just served. Ambience: The space is beautiful without being pretentious. The lighting is perfect, the atmosphere calm, and every detail seems designed for comfort. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, talk, and just enjoy the moment — ideal for a special dinner or a quiet evening out. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience. You leave feeling lighter, happier, and already planning your next visit.

Abdellatif Lalmi A wonderful dining experience from beginning to end. Keerthana delivered outstanding service with genuine care and professionalism. She understood my dietary needs, confirmed details directly with the chef, and suggested excellent alternatives that suited me perfectly. Her knowledge of the menu and attention to detail were impressive. She engaged at the right moments while maintaining a comfortable sense of privacy. Ankit also stopped by to check on us, which made the experience feel personal and valued. Overall, it was a smooth, satisfying, and pleasantly surprising evening.

Frankie Molyneux We stopped in for a few drinks and tapas at the bar post theatre and karolis made us feel right at home. He had amazing knowledge of cockatiels and the food menu. Thank you for a special evening ❤️

Vinicius Santos A Well-Executed Pre-Theatre Experience at Cora Pearl The décor is relaxed and intimate, complemented by soft background music that creates a warm, understated atmosphere. Expectations were high, especially as Cora Pearl has been ranked by the Michelin Guide as the best pre-theatre dining spot in London. We visited as a family of four and arrived about ten minutes before our pre-theatre reservation; our table was already ready, which was a great start. My parents both chose the three-course pre-theatre menu: potatoes with cod roe to start, pork steak for the main, and the After Eight crémeux for dessert. I had the butternut squash with coconut cream as a starter—the cream was thicker than I expected, but still very rich and delicious—followed by the wild sea bass with Jerusalem artichoke velouté, salsify, and bergamot. Overall, the food was excellent: well executed, well balanced, and thoughtfully put together. We shared a bottle of Riesling and I ordered the Cheeky Peach cocktail, as the restaurant is known for its cocktails. Both were enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. The Parmesan fries, however, were outstanding and easily a highlight of the meal. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, although service did slow down a little during busier moments. That said, it didn’t detract significantly from an otherwise very enjoyable pre-theatre experience.

Alessandro Marrarosa One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The food was excellent, well prepared, and served in a very pleasant atmosphere. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the outstanding service. Ripon and Ansar were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and friendliness. Their care and attention to detail made the morning even more enjoyable. Highly recommended — I will definitely be back.
