Mother Restaurant - (Near Barnet, South East)

Xander Tai Went into the cafe today with my family, and I was stunned to see a ROAST on the menu. It’s honestly one of the best roasts around. The potatoes were golden brown and crisp with a very soft inside. And the chicken was far from dry, with new flavours with each chew! Ignore the ketchup you won’t be needing that! The gravy was unreal, imo it bumped the roast up to a 10/10! I would defo recommend. The staff were very friendly, and quick to answer my questions. If your around Hove Park on a Sunday and feel a bit peckish then I’d defo go on down and give it a try. Thank you Hove Park for the great service!

Nick Simmons We’ve visited this pub a few times over the last few weeks. It’s much, much better than I remember. Yesterday I was looked after by Edie, as a family have got to know her quite well and one of the main reasons that we visit. She is always polite and full of beans. All the staff are great but Edie goes above and beyond, what a legend.

Keeley Wood After leaving a review here a few months ago we bit the bullet and decided to try again. The owner was amazing remembering my husband and was so apologetic about our last experience. He took the review very seriously and made sure that our order was delivered promptly. The food was delicious and to the standard we had always experienced in the past . It’s so refreshing to have a review taken seriously and in the context that it is meant, positive criticism turned into positive reaction and I can now say we will definitely be ordering from here again. A big thank you to the owner who clearly cares about his customers and the quality of the food . We really appreciated the understanding of our last experience. After leaving a three star review last time I am now happy to leave a five !!!

Caroline Wiliams Delicious food from the popadoms which were so fresh and tasty to the Butter Chicken, Prawns and Dahl wouldn’t hesitate to book again whenever the next pop up happens.

Harun Karakurt I bought spinach cheese and egg; and minced meet pide this morning for breakfast. It was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend. The staff were also really friendly and polite. I will definitely continue to go here. It was amazing, I highly recommend you give it a try when you can.

Joshi Suman Easily one of the top 3 restaurants in Hastings & St Leonards and maybe even no 1! Been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Incredible food, great music, cosy atmosphere & lovely owners. Definitely the restaurant of choice for special occasions. Can’t wait to go back!
