Mumbai Adda - (Near Sutton, South East)

4 /5 Dinesh Iyer: *Review edited* In my earlier review Id said in an offhand manner that their Schezwan rice and Tava pulao look too similar and they probably use food colouring. I liked the fact that Mumbai Adda replied to this review clarifying that they use in-house sauces and they do no use food colouring. They replied without sounding defensive or counter-accusatory. I liked the attitude, so Im going to give an additional star. Original review -- Mumbai Adda came highly recommended by a friend ("it will remind you of Indo Chinese food from Mumbai"). So I was slightly disappointed that it didnt have the wow factor. Dont get me wrong, its definitely not bad. But Id say it didnt fully live up to the hype. The Tava pulao and Schezwan fried rice looked too similar and one couldnt help thinking whether its due to the common food colouring used! They tasted good. Paneer chilli gravy was decent too.

1 /5 Saad Achwa: Ordered a takeaway from Mumbai Adda in Sutton. The food was packed well, which I appreciated. Some dishes tasted okay, but a few were quite bad and didn’t carry the rich, authentic Mumbai-style flavour one would expect. It feels like an attempt at Mumbai cuisine, but it doesn’t quite live up to the city’s reputation. Portion sizes were also a bit small for the price. Overall, the food was just average — not bad, but nothing that really stood out either.

5 /5 Sanjana Kapoor: We have been regularly ordering from Mumbai Adda. I must say we are never disappointed. They even catered food for our son’s birthday party. It was a hit! The potion sizes were great. You guys simply nailed it. The Mumbai chicken curry was well loved, samosas and Manchurian went off in minutes. Kadhai paneer was to die for. Thanks a lot for making our event extra special!

5 /5 prithviraj bhosale-patil: Thank you Mumbai Adda team for bringing back Mumbai food vibes to Sutton. We were longing to eat authentic Indo Chinese & Mumbai street food. The Vada pav with kadak chai is a special treat, brings back the memories in India to savour Chai with hot & spicy Vada Pav. I tried the Indo Chinese food - Hakka Noodles, Panner Chilli gravy and lolypop, they were so good - am going to be regular customer of Mumbai Adda. They also serve best Biryani, butter chicken & Kathi rolls. So glad , Sutton has finally got a good food shop to trust for a spread of Indian & Indo Chinese food. Go try it today !
