Tam Myo Delicious Indian afternoon tea from one of the winners of the Bake Off Professionals 2024. The hot savouries (Paneer puff and spicy aloo) were a particular treat as were the chocolate cumin, pineapple/mango and cardamom blackcurrant desserts. Views of the river Thames provided a great backdrop.

Jen Chieh Han BBQ ribs are melted, it served with nice sauce but more than barbecue sauce. It’s the reason I visited, and it made me feel the pay check worth the price in every way. The drink and food served shortly, and I really admire it much in mid of the day, especially in the afternoon. It’s hard to imagine I can have nice barbecue away from business area and just minutes walk from home. It was a quick and proper and memorable dining experience to me.

Kitty Sharman I’ve been coming here for years and the food is fantastic. When I moved for uni I couldn’t find anything that lives up to Full Moon and I’m so happy to be back. Wonderful food wonderful service.

Lamya L I didn’t know South American food at all and it was a real discovery. I was recommended the pupusas, so I had the beans, plantain & cheese and the spinach & cheese — they were really, really tasty. I absolutely loved them, I genuinely didn’t know this dish at all. I also had a short ribs & cheese quesadilla to finish, which was a real treat. Big highlight for the cocktails, especially the margarita — one of the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely be going back. Farrukh Hussain Basingstoke has quite a few Indian restaurants, but Spices & Spirits is easily one of my top three and my go-to spot for reliable, high-quality Indian food. Their Nali Gosht and lamb chops are absolutely top notch rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. It’s no surprise they’ve won several awards. Dined here again tonight and had a wonderful experience as always. Consistently great food and a solid choice for anyone craving Indian flavours!
