Ottimmo Bao Bao - (Near Hillingdon, South East)

5 /5 Clare Notley: I popped into this great little cafe for a quick lunch last Sunday. It was quiet when I arrived and so I took the opportunity to sit at the long window table that looks out on to Windsor Street, through the quirky window art. The food and juice recommended to me were really delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. A real asset to the Windsor Street cafes and restaurants.

5 /5 xiang wang: Fantastic experience here! You can’t miss this fusion Asian restaurant at Uxbridge. The coconut soup is very authentic. Strongly recommend the summer drink Berry Macaron, really refreshing with Yakult. Also the service is the best.

5 /5 Lucy Kim: I recently visited this place with a friend and had a fantastic experience. This was actually some of the best food Ive ever had. The drinks were sooo refreshing. Excellent service. Really, really good! Will definately be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Sara N: a lovely hidden gem, where the food is great, it’s a small cosy spot, and the staff is friendly and nice. there’s window seating and regular table seating so it’s comfortable to dine solo and with other people. i’d recommend the coconut soup - I got the tofu one which was lovely but the prawn one looked delish as well, and the prawns were on the side so they wouldn’t get soggy. packed full of flavour and really filling

5 /5 Hayden C: The food was absolutely delicious, the service was quick but seating is limited so I highly recommend to book ahead if you want to dine during peak hours to avoid disappointment. The Japanese soft shell crab bao bun was my favourite Bao in comparison to the oyster mushroom Bao. The bao was really soft and we enjoyed every bite. The size of the bao is excellent for the price, you get one piece per plate. The spicy lamb rice bowl was really flavourful and paired perfectly with the sticky rice. The rice bowl also had fried fritters, some carrots and broccoli. The lamb also had a few cashews on top and that complimented the dish really well. The green curry dish was also really delicious and had a slight heat to it which I really enjoyed. I only wished the bowl had more green curry to really enjoy the dish (the meat in the dish was more than sufficient). My suggestion is to serve the dish with just the curry and choice of meat and to provide the rice in a separate bowl. They also provide fresh juices and I would recommend the apple and carrot juice. Overall I really enjoyed this place and would come back to try other dishes.
