Ottolenghi Richmond - (Near Richmond upon Thames, South East)

4 /5 Highway Video: We ordered a latte and a cappuccino, and both were excellent. The cakes were delicious as well. We’d ordered from here before and really liked the cake, which is why we decided to go back and sit in this time. I am giving it four stars due to the higher prices compared to other coffee shops in Richmond — a slice of cake was £7.20 — and because a service charge was added to the bill for just cake and coffee, which was unexpected. Apart from that, the quality was great.

5 /5 Nancy Somra: We had a wonderful experience at Ottolenghi in Richmond. From the start, Kevin took amazing care of us, ensuring we had a comfortable area perfect for our family with kids. He walked us through the menu, recommended dishes based on our dietary needs, and handled last-minute requests (including a fish dish for the kids) with complete ease. The food was exceptional — full of flavour and beautifully presented. For our first visit, it couldn’t have been better, and we’re already excited to come back again. A special thank-you to Kevin, whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism truly elevated the whole experience. He made us feel completely looked after and turned a lovely brunch into something memorable.

5 /5 The Pink World: We went to the Richmond branch to celebrate Fathers day. The atmosphere was bright, chic and clean. The service was impeccable. I didnt even have to ask for water to be topped up - all done well in advance. Our waitstaff, Tilly, was very accommodating and brought our cake with a candle as requested. The food was really good and portion size generous. Between us four we had salmon, sea bream, red rice, broccoli, aubergine and cauliflower. I really enjoyed the sea bream . The skin was crispy and flavour good. The aubergine was also delicious and you could tell the tahini was top notch ! My favourite was the coronation cauliflower which was unlike any Ive tasted as I normally dont like coronation chicken. This cauliflower was so good. The hazelnut cake was good .my mocha mousse cake was good but could do with more mocha ! So glad that it was vegan as I cant take gelatin. Great experience overall and highly recommended.

5 /5 Leila Amirova: The best matcha latte I can tell I had here in Ottolenghi. And not only matcha latte itself, how it was presented was next level. Special thanks to Sam for his kindness and great effort in making the best matcha latte. Enjoyed my early morning at Ottolenghi richmond. Highly recommend to those who want enjoy the atmosphere the coziness as well as gastronomic satisfaction.

1 /5 Sunny Bee: Let down & disspointment in customer service from the short man behind bar serving who made me feel inadequate. There was a queue inside to the door. I managed to get in and missed the sign about being seated as I thought I would order then sit down as all I wanted was a coffee and cake. The queue went down and the short man said to me with sarcasm and attitude, are you eating in or taking away?! I said eating in, it’s like he was just waiting for me to say eating in so he could give me attitude and be rude. He said sit. We will come to you with a smirk and attitude. I found a table and excused his behavior as I know some people have bad days at work even though he was nice to everyone else in the queue which was odd why he pinpointed me. I was then greeted and served by a lady called Sarah D who was professional and witnessed this interaction with the small man behind the bar/food area and carried on to answer my questions about the cake and coffee professionally and was nice. I’m glad she made my stay durable compared to the waiter behind the counter who made me feel less than. I won’t be returning because of this rude man.
