mike howard I did a course round the corner from this hidden gem. Each day I’d be there for a breakfast sandwich then back at lunch for a wrap. The owners and staff are fantastic, the food was a great and a good sized portion and freshly made. I had some great suggestions from one of the owners how to tweak what was already a fantastic combination. If you get the chance to visit this place don’t hesitate. The wait is definitely worth it. Just a bit gutted I finished the course and live miles away.

Bikram Shrestha Absolutely fantastic experience at Susimoto Aldershot! The food was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The sushi was some of the best I’ve had – clearly made with high-quality ingredients and real care. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic, delicious Japanese food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Juhee Ive been here quite often since last year and here is the best brunch cafe ever in Guildford! Im so happy living nearby here. Every staff is so kind and thoughtful, always take care of everyone if they need something else. There are many tables and they also accommodate one-person seating. I believe itd be great if you update the price on google map for new customers! Also I believe, since tap water is occasionally missed, having a water jug available in a corner for self-service might be helpful x

Sarah Archer-palmer I had a surprise birthday last Saturday organised by my daughter. It was for 22 people, preordered food & wine. Unfortunately 5 people couldn’t come but the staff, especially JP and Alex, went out of their way to change the tables, move chairs etc, relay everything. It was quick, efficient and calm. They took over everything. The food was excellent, I had fish & chips. The chef was very flexible with timings and all food came out at once. I know everyone enjoyed their meal as there were lots of compliments! The rugby was on the TVs but didn’t overbear our table and lots of us enjoyed it in the background. This encouraged the fun, laid back atmosphere. The end of the evening was relaxed with making payments and the flexibility to chop and change was very appreciated. Hannah had an excellent team which goes to show she is an excellent manager. We are locals and really enjoyed showing off The Drummond in all her updated glory to my close friends and family. Kamil H Best meal of my life. Pita was amazingly seasoned and soft. Dips outstanding - I loved the smokey aubergine one. We then went for the croquettes (best beef ever), tacos and the filo feta (truly exceptional). Desserts were also stunning - tiramichoux was light yet full of flavour and coffee, while the almond cake was decadent and rich. £60 per person (starters, mezze, main, desserts, coffee and service charge).
