5 /5 Ali Kellaway: Lovely date night. Food was superb. Busy but not too busy. Felt very comfortable. I can HIGHLY recommend bouillabaisse and the Tart Tattin (must get). Notes for improvement (nitpicking): Service felt a little fast (not good times, quick is good) it was like the were trying to get us out almost. Ordering and such felt a little rushed. It was far too warm in there for me.

4 /5 Tien-shin Luo: 2026/02 Good choice of dishes and prices are fairly standard. There’s no service charge, which is appreciated, although a second bread refill costs £2.50. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable, and the food presentation is very good - everything looks beautiful when it arrives at the table.

5 /5 Sally Arnold Events: Pierre Victoire is a charming neighborhood gem in Oxford. I started with the gruyere and goat cheese soufflé, which was beautifully presented and outstanding! Our server recommended a nice glass of wine to accompany my Sunday roast beef, which, along with the vegetables and Yorkshire pudding, was delicious. The chocolate mousse was plated perfectly and was so tasty! The service was friendly and professional. We were visiting from the US and would definitely return.

4 /5 Lorna W: A nice little French restaurant in busy Oxford. We had a lunch booking for a small celebration. We thought the venue looked attractive from the outside & must also be atmospheric inside. It was possibly true on ground level. However we were led upstairs upon our arrival where the atmosphere was definitely not quite the same. Also the stern looking waitress who led us upstairs gave us quite an austere vibe. We were rather taken aback till we found subsequent waiters were really helpful & welcoming. Food on the other hand, was pretty good, better than most we had tried in the capital, that is, of course, apart from the really high end ones.

5 /5 Frances Dennis: Amazing food at this traditional French bistro Family run by people who clearly know how to cook food in the French style. You need to book a table even at lunch time to be sure of a meal. The place was packed. The atmosphere was buzzing. The waiters were very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu choices. My husband enjoyed his snail starter and I had the most delicious French onion soup. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection with a lovely wine and meat jus sauce. Sadly we didn’t have room for deserts but they looked gorgeous. Definitely somewhere to return when we are back in Oxford.
