5 /5 Joe: Can’t understand some of the bad reviews! I think maybe it’s because they’re all before the refurb. I’ve been to the branch on Hoe Street a few times and wanted to try this one out. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Coffee and food came quickly. They explained the menu. I don’t have a pork free diet, but the pork free English breakfast is super tasty. I may even prefer the sausage. Turkey bacon is very different, but it still is a nice substitute. The hash browns were amazing. Super crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I’ll definitely be back if I’m this side of Walthamstow again. I was in early so my pic makes it look quiet, but every table was taken by the time I left. This places rating is only going to go up as more people visit.

The food is a real highlight—everything is freshly cooked and bursting with flavor. Whether youre vegan, vegetarian, or looking for halal options, Querky Cafe offers an impressive variety that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. Its clear that they’ve put real care into creating dishes that cater to diverse dietary needs without compromising on taste or creativity. We are currently working our way through the vegan options and have not been disappointed! The lemon and mint mocktail is highly recommend as is the cinnamon swirl vegan option with a perfectly crafted coffee, made to perfection. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality food, inclusive options, and a friendly atmosphere. This spot is a real gem!
