4 /5 Chandrika: We hadnt visited ROC in a while so decided to have brunch there. We were seen to really quickly and the gentleman to served us was very attentive! The food came out quickly and we enjoyed the dishes we chose. We felt a bit let down by the environment though as decor felt tired, tables were very sticky and coffee mugs and small plates were dirty. Its such a shame as food and service were great. I hope this is something that can be rectified as it would affect whether or not we return in the future.

3 /5 Kam: Ive driven past this place for years and finally decided to stop in for lunch. We chose to sit outside since the weather was nice, but the outdoor area was just a mishmash. The garden booths looked like something on a building site, the cushions were filthy, and there was a random ladder with a candle on it in the middle. We waited quite a while for menus and had to ask the staff for them. When they arrived, they were sticky and dirty. Service throughout was slow, even though it wasn’t busy and there were four staff members. Having no hope, the food surprised us. I had The Roc Stack—didn’t expect much, but it was delicious. The brie was generous, and the chilli jam was the cherry on top. I was supposed to get chimichurri but ended up with Bombay sandwich chutney, which was still good with the Masala Fries. My wife had the Bountiful Spiced Fried Chicken Strip Salad and absolutely loved it. The flavours were well balanced and really tasty. We also ordered the Masala Fries on the side—amazing. The creamy white sauce and jalapeños worked perfectly. Portions are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable. Wed definitely come back to try more from the menu. Just hope the service improves and the place gets a bit of a tidy-up.

3 /5 Jo: Very chilly, even inside. Service is very friendly and fairly quick considering how busy it was. The coffee and smoothie were delicious. The salad was okay, I think some bits of it were cut too big and there was much too much red onion for my liking.

3 /5 Andy Bell: Reasonable food from a menu that seems to add an extra ingredient, and £1, wherever possible; chilli jam, mango chutney *and* spicy tomato salsa? Friendly service and nice mish-mash of crockery but not terribly clean; sticky cruets, grit in the grooves of the tables, dusty… The toilet has numerous quirky decorations. They need to cleaned when the toilet is cleaned.
