5 /5 Joe Dodd: Wonderful Valentines evening at Restaurant 109. Lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere where we spent a fantastic evening. Special Valentines 3 course set menu - fabulous, good honest food and very reasonably priced. Great wine and wide choice on the set menu, tough to decide as it all sounded so good but every course delivered! The pork belly was delicious, steak looked smashing and the Banoffee 109 was a perfect finish to the evening. Real nice buzz to the restaurant created by the staff and decor. We will be back!

1 /5 HR R: I simply cannot believe these reviews. Ate there for the first time recently, having driven past it many times with curiosity. The food was so sloppily presented, and so underwhelming. I cannot believe what is served, considering what is charged. The owner (assumedly) comes around asking customers if theyre enjoying their meals - and the question seems like a threat! Honestly appalling - would never go back, and if friends / colleagues asked about it I would urge them to avoid the overpriced disappointment.

5 /5 Mikeh: Been coming here on and off for twenty years. It has always been good and still is. Leave behind your chain owned fake restaurants run by accountants, this is the real deal, an independent chef in a family run restaurant. Classy food at a reasonable price from a set menu, or a le carte. Go here and taste the difference.

5 /5 Brix Bailey: Restaurant 109 serves amazing food in a cosy, stylish, family run restaurant in leafy Richmond. Serving freshly sourced local produce alongside a varied and well thought out wine list this restaurant is a real hidden gem with the warmest of hosts and a talented chef patron. P.s you must try the lobster... its fabulous.

5 /5 Steve Smithwick: I loved this restaurant! I have passed this restaurant a number of times it is on the kew rd side of Richmond. We got a table on a quiet night but were bowled over by the service and quality of the food.by the time it got to pudding i had eaten too much to enjoy it.

Maureen S. A real treat. My husband especially likes Japanese food and enjoyed favourites as well as new dishes. There was plenty to choose, we both found a new favourite in the Japanese plumb brandy cocktails. All was thoughtfully and beautifully presented. I was grateful for the helpful staff. The team at Matsuba ensured a pleasant, tasty, leisurely evening date.

Robert Barney Its consistently good but this time was excellent. Very friendly staff and the food was really very good, the French onion soup, the chicken and frites and the pistachio creme brulee. Maybe the decor needs a bit of a spruce. Other than that perfect.
