5 /5 Karen Thomson: Myself, my husband and our 2 German Shepherds ate here this evening for the first time The food was excellent. I had the fish and chips which were delicious and my husband had the rump steak and he said it was probably the best rump steak he has ever had. All the food was cooked to perfection. The service was also excellent Karen and Shonna were extremely friendly and very welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Thank you. We will definitely eat here again and would highly recommend both the food and service

5 /5 Ben Ahmad: Always having a pint often here after work. Bar staff and others always friendly and ready to serve drinks or food. Great place to stop in for a quick drink. Food was excellent and I’ve never had to wait long to get a drink or the food to come to the table. I’ve always enjoyed being here maybe once or twice a week over the last two years. Different change to the Wetherspoons atmosphere and other pub chains that so many enjoy. I would definitely try this if you haven’t located in the centre of Liphook.

5 /5 Deb Ludford: A lovely sunny day with lunch in the beer garden. An extensive menu with lots of choices including gluten free at reasonable prices too. The pub has history with Queen Victoria having stayed here. The pub itself is nothing special, but it’s clean and comfortable offering good, cheap chain pub grub. The lady who served us was lovely and seemed to have a rapport with all her customers. I had the chicken and bacon wrap and it was stuffed with ingredients and the chips were a good sized portion. The hubby had a Smoking Jack Burger and was happy with that too. Well worth a visit if you want a good reasonably priced meal and friendly service.

5 /5 karl turner: I have eaten in the Anchor on numerous occasions in all seasons and I have never had a bad meal. The menu is extensive and very well priced, the portions are more than generous. All the staff are very welcoming, chatty and so so friendly its a pleasure being there. Thank you

2 /5 Kirsty Beckett: Came with my partner and grandsons. Pub was quiet with lots of empty tables for an early Saturday evening. Food was not great, sausages were either from today’s breakfast or yesterday’s and just reheated. Eggs were not runny on the all day breakfast with items missing but no apologies. Food was mid temperature not piping hot. Overall not a good experience
