1 /5 Stephen Laming: We waited 20 mins before the waiter came t take our food and drinks order. What we ordered wasnt being served that evening, and another 30 mins before our drinks arrived. There was just 2 of us, and the restaurant was far from busy. Not at all satisfactory. Sort yourselves out, please.

5 /5 Michael Wyatt: Booked a Xmas meal for eight people, the whole evening was organised really well by the restaurant, right from the online pre-ordering of the food, to the printed name tags laid out on the table when we arrived which included a brief summary of everyones order. The service was perfectly timed and the staff were all very friendly, the food was great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return

1 /5 Bridget: I visited for lunch today with my 87-year-old mum who has dementia. I take her out for lunch every week, and unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, yet we had to wait quite a long time before we were even served. When my meal finally arrived it was clearly not fresh — something the waitress herself noticed. I had to send it back. I then waited around 40 minutes for a replacement meal, which somehow arrived even worse than the first. At that point I simply told them not to bother bringing another one. During all of this I made sure my mum could eat her lunch in peace, as that was my priority. When the bill arrived, I politely asked the manager if they would remove my glass of wine as a goodwill gesture, considering I never actually had a meal. I was perfectly happy to pay for everything my mum had eaten and drunk. The manager’s response was shockingly rude. He said, “But you drank your wine, what’s wrong with that?” — completely dismissing the situation. As I got up to take my mum to the till to pay, the manager then stretched his arms out and blocked us into the corner where our table was, saying “I recommend you don’t do that.” I was stunned. I asked what he meant and said I was simply going to the till to pay. He later admitted he thought we were going to leave without paying. To treat a customer — especially someone dining with an elderly parent with dementia — like that is absolutely disgraceful. At no point did we suggest we weren’t going to pay. Not only was the food unacceptable and the wait times ridiculous, but the manager’s behaviour was aggressive, accusatory, and completely unprofessional. We were then asked to leave and told we were banned. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant. What should have been a simple lunch with my mum turned into a deeply upsetting experience. I will never return.

5 /5 Simon Will: We came here as a party of 10 (2 children included, I’ll get to that) and I can safely say we all had a really nice time and a lovely meal! Mentioning the kids, the waiters were really nice to them and humoured their conversations which doesn’t always happen! They also replaced a spilt lemonade at no extra cost. The food was great here, a little more expensive than your normal pub, but worth it in my view. Lastly, Ross & Leo were 10/10 and some of the nicest servers we’ve ever come across. Keep up the good attitude chaps!

2 /5 Terry Strong: I went in for a quick drink with my son, I was totally ignored at the bar while the staff served other people before us first! When I dared to mention to the staff I was waiting before other people, I was shot down by bar staff saying "I havent got eyes in the back of my head" whatever happened when you had bar staff who had a chat, a little laugh and a joke with their customers when they served them... I absolutely despair! And the hospitality industry wonder why theyre struggling. I thought they would have been greatful for the custom. I wont be making the same mistake again !!
