David Clarke Here we go. Don’t let its humble, tucked away location put you off. Taj Cuisine does not follow the “all trousers and no pants” precedent of many Indian restaurants. This is the real deal. The accolades that litter its walls aren’t there by accident. Service is accurate, attentive and perceptive. The owner made me feel welcomed and ensured my needs were met by checking in throughout the course of my visit. Surroundings are comfortable and very much like that of regular Indian restaurants. What is different is the dishes. They are exciting, dramatic, looking and tasting absolutely beautiful. My main course was edging towards fine dining given its presentation and quality. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Kent, class in a Chatham retail estate glass.

Tom Brouwers Really enjoyed this cute restaurant with very delicious pizzas. As a celiac I was surprised that every dish could be ordered gluten free. The staff was very helpful explaining the risk of possible cross contamination. Nevertheless I enjoyed a delicious pizza and still had a great night! Would recommend this restaurant to others for its delicious food and welcoming and helpful staff!

Stephanie Blenko Currier Its taken us a while to get a Sunday booking here, but after our recent meal I can see why theyre so popular! We really enjoyed their refreshingly original take on a Sunday roast that still celebrates the flavours and ingredients of the season. We were particularly impressed at the portion of the main meats, which although pricey, provided very good value for money. I was very grateful that the staff were knowledgeable and confident on gluten free options - our waitress quickly brought over a menu marked up with hand written notes on what was safe and what could be accommodated. We were so full from the meal that we opted to share the peanut parfait for dessert, but it was so moreish we found ourselves wishing we had ordered two. Really looking forward to coming back again soon to this cozy and inviting pub.

Its like getting a taste of the bustling streets of India right in my neighborhood! I cant thank them enough for making my mornings brighter and tastier. Before work, this spot has become my go-to daily pit stop. The flavors are on point, and every bite is a burst of deliciousness that leaves me craving more. Whats even better is that Google Maps made it super easy for me to find this treasure. Just a few taps, and I found my way to this flavor-filled adventure. The people working here are incredibly friendly and helpful. If youre not sure what to try, theyll happily guide you through their menu with a smile. It feels like they genuinely care about making your experience special. In short, if youre into real Indian street food, this place is an absolute must-visit. Its got that traditional charm and mouthwatering taste thats hard to find elsewhere. Thank you, Google Maps, for helping me discover this little food paradise. Phoebe Worsnop Absolutely amazing rare beef pho, up there with the best I’ve ever had! The broth is incredible, so light but with such a depth of flavour. Can’t recommend enough. Pho usually only on the menu on Saturdays though! Lovely, friendly staff too. Banh mi also very good, nice selection of fillings and delicious iced and hot Vietnamese coffee.
