Mary Culver On the last night of our holiday, we visited Bengal Palace. A lovely Indian restaurant, formerly a pub. The wonderful aroma of good food hits you as you walk in. There is a pool table to keep you amused while you are waiting for your food, the kids enjoyed having a game. Our food was delicious, hot on arrival and portions very generous. Chicken tikka was cooked to perfection and the flavour was spot on. They do take away and delivery service which seemed to be busy. Its lovely to eat in though. The restaurant is very clean, Id love to sit by the wood burner in colder times, very cosy I would imagine. Toilets lovely and clean and well stocked. Service professional and friendly. Go and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Jonathan saull Outstanding! My wife, father and I have just enjoyed a superb evening at Lime and Chilli restaurant. The staff were friendly helpful and attentive and the dining area was spotlessly clean. The food was exceptionally good, being fresh with beautiful subtle flavours; it was well presented and at a very reasonable price too. This restaurant deserves to do very well indeed and I’d encourage locals to try it and support. We will certainly be back! **Update already booked to go back**

Clare Warm welcome on arrival and the most attentive service from our lovely Italian waitress. The food was delicious, with a good size portion and veg inclusive in the meal price. Love the world map with invitation to overseas clientel to place a marker on where they have come from. Look forward to visiting again!

Mark Bevan Well worth frequent visits to Morrisons Cafe Newport Isle Of Wight. Always clean and tidy, naturally friendly and efficent staff. Lovely Hot Meals, cooked to perfection and well presented. Nice Cakes too. Excellent service always.

Keith Dredge Absolutely love this pub. One of the better ones in the area, and for the price you cant beat it. One of the bar members who particularly stands out here is a young man called Patrick, always professional when delivering food and drinks, and always willing to go the extra mile to help you out (whether thats helping you find a table, choosing food or a drink, or helping you with general queries!
